今夜は、GOLDEN BEST LimitedルネシマールのCDの２枚目を聴きながら、この記事を書いて行こうと思います。最初の曲は、「去年の夏」。ルネの変声期の声にショックを受けながらも、ルネが確実に成長していることの実感（嬉しいような悲しいような）とその不思議にも思えるような声の魅力に引き込まれながら、レコードでこの歌を聴いていた事を思い出します。
実は今夜、夕食の後で、うちの猫の目が少しおかしい事に気がつき、よく見てみると、その目の上が少し赤くなっていて、同じ側の耳のところからすこし血が出ていて。。。という状態を発見して、明日の早朝、獣医さんに連れて行くことになりました。うちの猫は、いろいろと他の猫がしないようなことをしがちなのですが、そのうちのひとつに、トイレの後にその事をすごく気にしてしまって、家中をすごい勢いで（「新幹線」というニックネームもあるぐらいの速さで）走り回るという習慣があります。その時に、頭をどこかにぶつけてしまうということがあるのです。今朝も、走り回っていた音が聞こえていたように思うのですが、そのあとはずっと寝ている姿をみていただけで、この目の異常と耳のことに気がつかないでいました。痛みはまったくないようなのですが、とても心配しています。今夜は、ブログをよほどおやすみしてしまおうかと思ったぐらい、本当は、心配と不安で胸がどきどきしているのですが。。。でも、短くても今夜の記事を書こうと思います。だからルネの歌を聴きながらではないと、集中できないようです。そして少し、心配な気持ちも落ち着いてきます。明日にならないと、何もすることはできないのですから。。。人間も動物も、健康であるというのは、本当にかけがえのないものですね。
今、ルネの曲は、４曲目の「アベマリア」です。
今夜は、うちの猫の様子が心配で、オタワでのコンサートの様子をうまく記事にする自信がありません。。。予定を変更してルネの最新ニュースを書くことにしたいと思います。
少し前の記事でも少し書いていたことですが、ルネとマリージョセは、Ècole Oraliste de Québec Pour Engants Sourds (ケベックオーラリストスクール)（聴覚の問題を持つ子供たちが手話を使わず、リップリーでイングを声を出して学ぶ学校）の第一次期の基金集めのスポークスマンを５年間務めることを決めました。５年間での目標は、２，５００，０００ドル。
その最初ともいえる仕事として、二人は、 聴覚の健康のためのグループのLobe Sante auditive et communicationの雑誌のインタビューを受けています。二人のすてきな写真がその雑誌の表紙を飾っています。インタビューに答えているのは、マリージョセ。この雑誌は、PDFでもダウンロードすることができます。ダウンロードできるサイトアドレスは、http://lobe.ca/magazine/ リンクを利用してもダウンロードのページに行くことができます。そしてPDFのアイコンをクリックするとダウンロードが始まります。
マリージョセのインタビュー記事は、５ページにあります。PDFファイルなので、コピーペイストで翻訳ページを利用すると簡単に英語または日本語に訳することが可能です。訳はおかしいかもしれませんが、概要は知る事ができると思います。
インターネットでルネのことを調べてみると、いろいろと新しく知ることがたくさんあると思いますが、この二人がどうしてこれほど聴覚に問題のある子供たちのために力を尽くそうとしているのかというと、二人の子供のロザリーとオリビエも聴覚に問題をもって生まれてきたという理由があります。このことに関してはここでは、書き尽くせないくらいのことがありますので、ここでは、このことについて今回は、ふれないでおきます。ただ、このマリージョセのインタビューを読んでみると、ルネとマリージョセがオリビエ が１１ヶ月になるまでオリビエの聴覚に問題があることに気がつかないでいたこと、ロザリーは誕生とともにすぐに検査をして問題のあることがわかったことなどにふれて、少しでもおかしいなと思うことがあれば、病院に連れて行って検査をすることがその子供の将来のためにどれほど大切であることかを力説しています。

ルネ、オリビエ（１１ヶ月）、マリージョセ

フェイスブックのpassion simardのページで紹介されていた昔の雑誌の表紙。ケベックのルネの大ファンのマリエルさんとのフェイスブックでのコメント欄での話では、この時、ルネとマリージョセは、オリビエの聴覚の問題には気づいていなくて、気がついたのは、この一ヶ月後ぐらいだったのだそうです。オリビエとロザリーの聴覚問題の原因は、ルネとマリージョセの遺伝子の組み合わせに関わりがあるのだそうです。
また、Lobe のブログのページで紹介されているマリージョセのインタビュー記事では、ルネとマリージョセが手話を学んだこと、オリビエが５才、ロザリーが４才の時に、人口内耳（cochlear implant)の手術をしたことを話しています。
そしてオリビエとロザリーのことを誇りに思っていること。現在の二人の様子も話しています。二人とも学校では、多くの大変な努力をしなければならなかったけれども、現在、ロザリーは、大学の２年生としてビュジュアルアートやダンスの勉強を勉強していること 、そして、クラフトショップでアルバイトをしているそうです。
オリビエは、電気エレクトロニクスの技術者として就職していること。そして最近では、３ヶ月の間カナダ西部に単身でかけ、英語を学んでいたとのこと。
ルネは、このインタビューで話していませんが、ルネもこれまでにもっと多くの聴覚に問題のある子供たちが人口内耳の手術を受けることができるように基金を集める運動をしています。ケベックの人たちやルネのファンたちは、すでにこのことを昔から知っていて、ルネの運動に協力をしています。そういえば、最近シャンタル博士が、 フェイスブックのMusee Simardで１９９８年にスーパーで行われていた募金活動で使われていた「募金箱」の写真を公開していました！ちょっとその写真をお借りしてきましょう。
ルネは、機会があるたびに、よく「子供たちやマリージョセのことをほんとうに誇りにして、愛している」ということを言いますが、表面的ではなく、本当にほんとうにいろんなことがあって、みんなで頑張ってきた、そして今も頑張っているからこそ、このように言えるのだろうと思うのです。「私たちが知っているルネ」だけでなく「私たちが知らなかったルネ」としても深く協賛し、尊敬できる人であると思います。
このことについて私が初めて知ったのは、２００２、３年の頃に、passion simardのグループに入った時だったと思います。そしてルネの子供たちの手術をした医者のサイトで書かれていたことなどを読んだり、その記事と関係していたオリビエとロザリーのドキュメンタリーを youtubeでアップされていたので、みたりしていました。現在残っているのは、同じものではありませんが、ドキュメンタリーの一部をみることができるものが一つだけあります。
オリビエとロザリーのことを、このブログで記事にしようとは考えていませんでしたが、 今回、ルネとマリージョセがこの募金活動のスポークスマンになるということで、私も二人の応援がしたいと思い、書くことにいたしました。そして、もしかしたら、このブログを読んでいる方の中にも二人の活動に協賛されて募金をしたいと思って下さる方がいるかもしれませんね。

「ミドリ色の屋根は永遠に」のkei さんが、dailymotionのサイトにあるマリージョセのバイオグラフィーのリンクを紹介してくれました。これも、youtubeに昔アップされていた映像だと思いますが、私が話していた人口内耳の手術を勧める医者／グループのサイトで紹介されていたもう一つのドキュメンタリーとは、違うものです。そのドキュメンタリーは、ロザリーとオリビエが中学生または高校生の時までの様子も紹介されていたような気がします。この映像は、マリージョセの自叙伝というタイトルのあるもので、これはそのパート３です。この中でマリージョセ、ルネは、二人の子供の聴覚問題のことが分かった時のこと、人口内耳の手術を受けた時のことなどを話しているようです。二人の話していることがもっとよくわかったらいいのですが。。。keiさんは、以前に「ルネの子供たち」のタイトルで記事を書かれていますので、keiさんのサイトで詳しくお読み下さいませ。
